I am writing this in late July when the weather outside is frightful!! Thank God I have Air Conditioning!
I am a Gramma! Isn’t that amazing. I am so happy and grateful and smitten with little Evelyn Cecile Novog. Both Elizabeth and Baby are fine and getting into a routine. I go out to Oakville for a “fix” on Wednesdays, so I am keeping up with all the progress. She is very alert these days and is following sounds and shapes and even smiling when she likes them. Pretty smart eh! Also growing by the minute.
Not only that, but I am now expecting a second Grandchild in December. Matthew and Amber have bought a house near us and are very excited to be having their little one in the same year as Evelyn, so the cousins can grow up together. I feel Blessed.
Paul and I celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary in early July and had a round of Brunch, Dinner and an Afternoon Tea spread over a whole week. It was really nice.
I was in England in June for my Neice Kate’s Wedding, which was a lovely, family affair, and am returning to England to teach at the “Festival of Quilts” in Birmingham in mid August.
I have put together a group of classes I thought you would enjoy….a “Something for Everyone” term coming up.As well as the regular On Going/Intermediate weekly classes there are a few other workshop to choose from, including an Apron class, a Bag class, Christmas Stuff and Two new Quilts. Have a look to see if anything appeals to you and get back to me.
Information on our Annual Bus Trip and the Show and Share Dessert Party is on line as well, for those of you who have been asking.
