ON GOING CLASSES

These classes are a place to experiment, to be encouraged with any project you choose, a place to relax and learn new techniques that may interest you.

12 classes                                                                        $95.

MONDAYS       starting September 13th           1.15-3.15pm or 7.30-9.30pm

TUESDAYS       starting September 7th             7.30-9.30pm

APPLIQUE CLUB

Another chance to come and join us for a peaceful afternoon of stitching with a little help from Me!! Beginners welcome.

CAN OF WORMS

This has become an “On Going” class, but we welcome newcomers, and you can start from the beginning whilst enjoying the creativity around you.

BAG LADIES ( OF THE EVENING ?)

Another Bag!!! Do you have enough yet??? This one is designed by Amy Butler and is called “Birdie Sling”, a  largish shoulder bag with 2 pockets inside. Very popular pattern and not difficult to assemble, some pre cutting necessary. Bring your machine and some snacks to share.

LILLY APRON

Aprons are all the rage these days, the more retro the better it seems. I found this pattern for a smock type apron when I was visiting my sister in Calgary this year. It covers your Torso and ties at the back, so is easy to wear and more effective than the waistband type.

Can be made with one or two fabrics and is so easy you will want to make some as gifts.

DIAMOND JUBILEE

A showcase for your fat quarter collection, this quilt is very easy. You can choose to feature your favourite Florals or Orientals or Jewel Tones or Batiq’s, whatever!!

Quick cutting and strip piecing techniques are used to make this stunning quilt.

ROAD TO TOKYO

An easy 3 colour quilt designed to use up scraps for an old fashioned look. Florals and soft colours for a bit of romance, or buy new and make it more dramatic. This is a good children’s quilt if you make it in bright colours.

LET’S DO CHRISTMAS

Let’s get together once a month to get some stuff ready for decorating or for gifts.

Classes will be held on Sundays;

September 19th will be a Simple but Elegant Star Table Runner.

October 17th a 3 colour, Star based 44″ wide Tree Skirt.

November 28th we will make some Stockings,Large and Small for decorating or filling

You can of Course make multiples of these in between classes and give them as presents to Family and Friends.
