I designed this quilt for my Daughter Elizabeth and her Husband Dave.

I had to keep in mind their love for oriental design, Elizabeth’s request for a Double Wedding Ring quilt and the fact that their furniture is Dark Oak and their walls are a beautiful Blue.

It was not the easiest thing I have ever done and took almost 3 yrs to get it right but they are pleased and thats what it’s all about. I sent it to the Mennonites to do the Hand Quilting because I wanted it to be heavily quilted in a specific design to enhance the placement of the colours within the overall pattern.

Now I have moved on to making the Baby Quilts as we are expecting an arrival in mid to late May!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Aren’t I Lucky!
